World Pride Silicone Ice Mold Ice Pop Maker Set, Set of 4pcs Review

We have been using these for months now and I am sweet pleased with them. They actually do not hold very much at all, maybe 2-4 ounces. They seal up fine. I was apprehensive at first about the fact that the tops just push on. I planning the tops would just pop right off, but they are sweet tight decent. When you fill them up you need to stop filling about 1/2"-1" from the top. You then push the top on, turn the pop molds upside down, and place them in the freezer. We juiced some oranges and made orange juice pops. Those were actually good. Recently we put left over smoothie in a few. We have not tried the smoothie pops yet, but am sure they will be just as good.As far as smell goes, I did not notice a rubber, fake, or chemical smell at all on these. Not when we first opened the package nor after having used them. My child however, thinks they smell, but cannot explain what the smell is. The only thing I can smell on them is cold freezer smell, which doesn't bother me. If not there have been no problems of smell on this brand of pop molds. We do not put them in the dishwasher, and while you can, I would not urge it. Silicone tends to get a gross film from the detergents in the dishwasher on them, and then that would affect the taste of your pop.I would also recommend getting more than 4, especially if you have a large family tree. Even for a small family tree having more than 4 would be handy so you can rotate them out, wash them, and have some void to keep making pops with. These would be my suggestion and the price is good.
