We purchased a substitution lid for our Cuisinart Supreme Ice Cream Maker in April after the one that came with the apparatus chipped just from regular use. Well, it's happened again just two months after purchasing the substitution lid. Even if the apparatus makes excellent ice cream consistently, the churning arm and paddle are poor and too delicate. This lid is actually too delicate as now we're having to hold a third one since only buying the apparatus in February 2012. - Guido Levriero
